TEACHING ARTIST


2010-2014
--Teaching artist with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival whose 15-year mission is to foster a more personal connection with William Shakespeare's works in its students (grades 4-12).

2014--Head Teaching Artist for HVSF's Summer Teacher's Shakespeare Institute. Workshops designed to help teachers make Shakespeare fun and accessible within the classroom.

2007-2014--Teaching artist with Aquila Theatre's Shakespeare Leaders program at Harlem's Fredrick Douglas Academy in Harlem (8-12). She also leads college-level Acting & Shakespeare Workshops as a part of Aquila's Fall Tour in 2008. 2007: Director FDA's "Romeo & Juliet" 2013: Director FDA's "Twelfth Night" 2014: Director FDA's "The Tempest"


1996-1997--As an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Michele served as a senior director in the Director's Lab, a program that offered coaching and guidance to underclassmen pursuing majors in Performance Studies.

1996--Drama Camp Director; Davie County (NC) Parks and Recreation Summer Arts Theatre Program (K-3).
